About the role
This is the most involved role on the board because restoration is the most involved trade. The team is building software to handle emergency intake, moisture logs, contents inventory, and the endless adjuster communication. They want an operator who has lived the Xactimate and IICRC S500 reality, not a summary of it.
What you will do
- Walk us through emergency intake and dispatch when every minute counts.
- Walk us through documentation, moisture logs, and contents inventory.
- Walk us through working claims and communicating with adjusters.
- Walk us through where jobs stall between mitigation, repair, and payment.
About you
- You have run water, fire, or mold jobs from intake through billing
- You know the insurance and documentation side firsthand
- Familiar with IICRC standards and claim estimating
- Available for scheduled calls and occasional file review
Compensation
This role pays $125/hr, invoiced after each session. You are told the rate before any call and paid for your time whether or not anything else comes of it. Most engagements start with one or two calls (ongoing advisory), and operators who know their numbers are invited to ongoing paid advisory.
Logistics
- Location: Remote, US. Calls happen over video.
- Time commitment: 3 to 5 hrs / month, on a schedule that works for you.
- Recording only happens with your consent, and your company details stay confidential.
