About the role
This team is building dispatch and customer follow-up software for HVAC. They keep hitting the same wall: they do not know how the day actually runs when the phones are ringing. You would join recurring calls to walk through real scenarios and pressure-test what they are building.
What you will do
- Walk us through how calls, scheduling, and dispatch run on a busy day.
- Walk us through estimating, quotes, and follow-up on unsold jobs.
- Walk us through maintenance plans, renewals, and reactivating old customers.
- Walk us through the software you use, and the parts you work around.
About you
- You own or manage an HVAC service business
- You know the day-to-day, not just the P&L
- Three or more years in the trade
- Comfortable on a recurring video call
Compensation
This role pays $90/hr, invoiced after each session. You are told the rate before any call and paid for your time whether or not anything else comes of it. Most engagements start with one or two calls (ongoing advisory), and operators who know their numbers are invited to ongoing paid advisory.
Logistics
- Location: Remote, US. Calls happen over video.
- Time commitment: 2 to 4 hrs / month, on a schedule that works for you.
- Recording only happens with your consent, and your company details stay confidential.
