About the role
This team is building an on-site quoting and parts tool and wants to learn how garage door service really works. A tech rolls up to a snapped torsion spring, has to size the part, and quotes a repair or a full door on the spot. They want an operator who knows how those driveway decisions get made and how the good-better-best pitch lands.
What you will do
- Walk us through diagnosing springs, openers, cables, and rollers on site.
- Walk us through pricing repair versus full door replacement at the truck.
- Walk us through sizing and stocking parts so techs are not driving back.
- Walk us through the good-better-best pitch and how techs close in the driveway.
About you
- You own or manage a garage door service business
- You have quoted and closed repairs on site yourself
- Three or more years in the trade
- Willing to be recorded on a call
Compensation
This role pays $80/hr, invoiced after each session. You are told the rate before any call and paid for your time whether or not anything else comes of it. Most engagements start with one or two calls (paid interview), and operators who know their numbers are invited to ongoing paid advisory.

- Location: Remote, US. Calls happen over video.
