About the role

This team is building bidding and workforce software and needs to understand the recurring contract side of commercial cleaning. Bids come off square footage and cleaning frequency, most crews work after hours, and accounts get lost over missed spots and turnover. They want an operator who has bid a building, staffed the overnight shift, and kept a client through the quality complaints.

What you will do

• Walk us through bidding contracts off square footage and cleaning frequency.
• Walk us through staffing and scheduling overnight janitorial crews.
• Walk us through quality inspections and holding accounts against complaints.
• Walk us through supply costs and labor as a percent of the contract.

About you

• You own or manage a commercial cleaning or janitorial business
• You have bid contracts and staffed crews yourself
• Three or more years in the trade
• Willing to be recorded on a call

Compensation

This role pays $70/hr, invoiced after each session. You are told the rate before any call and paid for your time whether or not anything else comes of it. Most engagements start with one or two calls (paid interview), and operators who know their numbers are invited to ongoing paid advisory.
